The Four C's of Moissanite
Moissanite jewels have their own grading system. Similar to the four c’s of diamonds, moissanite is graded by carat, color, clarity and cut.
CARAT
Moissanites are sold by millimetre size as the benchmark.
The carat is the traditional unit of measurement for a diamond's weight. Moissanite weighs approximately 10% less than a diamond. For example, a 6.5mm round diamond weighs 1.00 carats. Both the diamond and moissanite are the same size - 6.5mm in diameter.
We have listed all our moissanites with their size in millimetres and the approximate Diamond Equivalent Weight (DEW) in carats.

COLOR
The descending order starts with D color, and there are 11 levels of color, and DEF is a colorless level. The D color is the best.
CACESTONE MOISSANITE provide "D"color.
CLARITY
Gemstones can have inclusions such as small black carbon deposits, white feathering, or a cloud of tiny and tightly spaced deposits.
Moissanite can have needle-like inclusions that can be observed with effort under 10x magnification. The inclusions at this level are invisible to the naked eye.
All CACESTONE MOISSANITE have a clarity of at least VVS1/VVS2.
CUT
The cutting angle and proportion of CACESTONE MOISSANITE are accurately calculated to create a high-quality Moissanite refractive index. The standard Moissanite cut is divided into the following 5 grades.
